Miracle Walk
a poem by Rönnog
Seaberg
Forgetfully walking on water |
my half brain makes sure |
that the other half makes dinner |
and other mistakes |
on the shore. |
My half brain mends |
half people |
into whole women and men |
turns whey into wine |
and blows life into the lame |
while walking |
but not on roads. |
Half brain walk |
sideways or downstairs |
to burning skin, electric rods |
and electric chairs |
or starvation |
turning it |
around. |
